World Championship Wrestling - 9/30/89 - featured Jim Ross conducting an interview with NWA US Champion Lex Luger regarding the open challenge he made the previous week to face any other wrestler, during which Luger said the other wrestlers were more scared of facing him than they wanted the US title; included a report from Gordon Solie after attending a press conference held by NWA World Champion Ric Flair, with Solie stating Flair had paid the NWA Funk's $100,000 fine to get Funk's suspension lifted and that Funk would face Flair Oct. 8 at the Omni in an I Quit match; Solie also said that Flair & Sting would face Funk & NWA TV Champion the Great Muta in the main event of Halloween Havoc; featured Ross conducting an interview with Flair regarding his actions to get Funk back in the ring; it was later stated the Oct. 8 match would be the first ever I Quit match for the NWA World Title and that Bruno Sammartino would officiate the Havoc Thunderdome main event; included Ross conducting an interview with Brian Pillman with Pillman accepting Luger's open challenge for a title shot; featured a pre-taped segment in which Robin Green admitted that wasn't her real name and she wasn't really from Milwaukee, that she wasn't a valet or manager, and was "Woman;" she went on to state she stands behind no man and commented on the two men who beat Scott Steiner up in the limo - called Doom - before saying she would conquor the wrestling world; included Ross conducting an interview with Jim Cornette, Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane in which Cornette said NWA Tag Team Champions Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin were afraid of facing Eaton & Lane at Halloween Havoc and instead would face Shane Douglas & Johnny Ace; Cornette went on to say Eaton & Lane would team with Steve Williams at Havoc against the Wild Samoans who would have a new third member; moments later, Ross attempted to talk to Lane about Douglas & Ace but Lane walked off; featured a Havoc 89 commercial featuring Elvira; included pre-taped comments from Rick & Scott Steiner - his face heavily bruised and with a black eye - regarding Robin's turning on them, Scott's injury, and the two mystery men that jumped Scott:

World Championship Wrestling - 9/30/89 - featured Jim Ross conducting an interview with NWA US Champion Lex Luger regarding the open challenge he made the previous week to face any other wrestler, during which Luger said the other wrestlers were more scared of facing him than they wanted the US title; included a report from Gordon Solie after attending a press conference held by NWA World Champion Ric Flair, with Solie stating Flair had paid the NWA Funk's $100,000 fine to get Funk's suspension lifted and that Funk would face Flair Oct. 8 at the Omni in an I Quit match; Solie also said that Flair & Sting would face Funk & NWA TV Champion the Great Muta in the main event of Halloween Havoc; featured Ross conducting an interview with Flair regarding his actions to get Funk back in the ring; it was later stated the Oct. 8 match would be the first ever I Quit match for the NWA World Title and that Bruno Sammartino would officiate the Havoc Thunderdome main event; included Ross conducting an interview with Brian Pillman with Pillman accepting Luger's open challenge for a title shot; featured a pre-taped segment in which Robin Green admitted that wasn't her real name and she wasn't really from Milwaukee, that she wasn't a valet or manager, and was "Woman;" she went on to state she stands behind no man and commented on the two men who beat Scott Steiner up in the limo - called Doom - before saying she would conquor the wrestling world; included Ross conducting an interview with Jim Cornette, Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane in which Cornette said NWA Tag Team Champions Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin were afraid of facing Eaton & Lane at Halloween Havoc and instead would face Shane Douglas & Johnny Ace; Cornette went on to say Eaton & Lane would team with Steve Williams at Havoc against the Wild Samoans who would have a new third member; moments later, Ross attempted to talk to Lane about Douglas & Ace but Lane walked off; featured a Havoc 89 commercial featuring Elvira; included pre-taped comments from Rick & Scott Steiner - his face heavily bruised and with a black eye - regarding Robin's turning on them, Scott's injury, and the two mystery men that jumped Scott:
